I’m pleased to provide you a preview of the Tarot Deck of 22 Major Arcana Cards created by 22 Artists from India for the Literati project of Museo Dei Tarocchi, Bologna, Italy.

This picturesque museum has unique Tarot art and published decks and also conducts interesting events and projects from time to time.

This one of its kind Tarot Museum wanted to publish a beautiful collaborative Tarot deck created by teams of 22 Artists selected from different continents for which I was coordinating as correspondent from the region from Asia/ India. 

The overall theme for the project this year was Literature - any great classic of literature, contemporary or historical for each card.

It was certainly very challenging to locate artists in India with a background of Tarot and I thank all the artists who joined in to create this unusual tarot deck and hope that many more beautiful tarot decks will be created by talented Indian artists to reach out to the world.

Thanks to the Museum of Tarots for giving us this opportunity. It was a great experience for me and  opened my eyes to the variety and talent available in the country with regard to Tarot and its art. Credit goes to all the artists who participated in this project and gave their valuable time, energy and talents for this collaboration.  Not only did we 22 work individually on our own cards, but also helped each other with ideas, suggestions, insights by meeting in person and exchanging emails regularly. In many cases we worked in groups of two. Indeed I am proud to be associated with this project and happy to present the creations of Indian Tarot artists for the first time on such as platform.
